SKU (pronounced “Skew”) stands for Stock Keeping Unit. A SKU is a unique identification number used to categorize products by certain criteria, such as brand, size, color, and model. Each SKU is assigned its own location in the warehouse to facilitate picking.

In order to make your products available for fulfillment, you must upload your SKUs into ONE as a CSV file using the template we provide. Here’s how:

What Is a CSV File?

Video: How to Upload SKUs

  1. Log into ONE and click on the “Products” tab

  1. Click the green “Upload CSV File” button.

  1. Click the “Download CSV Template” button. The template will be saved on your computer.

  1. Navigate to your downloads folder (or wherever the template has been saved) and open the file with a spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. The file is called 09_26_2018_ProductSKUs_Template.csv and looks like this:

  1. Fill out the sheet with the following information for each SKU you wish to upload:

    1. SKU: Enter the SKU number for each product you will be introducing to the warehouse. Note: It’s a good idea to include letters in your SKU to identify your brand. For example, if your company is Swagger Watches, you might name your SKUs SWG-1001, SWG-1002, etc.

    2. UPC: This is the Universal Product Code, a 12 digit number that is widely used for tracking trade items in stores.

    3. Description: A description of your product; for example, “Black Watch.”

    4. Customs Description: The description of your product that will be used on customs paperwork for international shipments; for example, “watch.”

    5. Customs Value: The monetary value of the product that will be declared to customs authorities.

    6. HTS Code: HTS stands for Harmonized Tariff Schedule. Developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO), the codes are used to classify and define internationally traded goods. If you need help determining the HTS Codes for your products, this website is a good resource.

    7. Country of Origin: Country where the goods were manufactured. You can use the 2 digit Country codes from this list.

    8. Require Serial Number: Type “Y” (yes) or “N” (no) in this field. This lets us know if you want us to keep a record of the specific serial number of each product shipped.

  1. After you have entered all your SKUs, save the template (you can rename it; for example, “Swagger SKUs”. Then upload it to ONE by clicking the “Upload File” button, selecting the file, and clicking the blue “Submit” button.

  1. You will receive a message telling you if the upload succeeded. You will be able to see your uploaded file under “Submitted Product” (see the menu bar on the left side of the screen). Submitted SKUs should appear in your list of products within 24 business hours.
